Relying on an expert to record themselves is fraught with risk. It is one thing for an expert to videotape or photograph their inspections for reports, it is another matter to capture the inspection for future use at mediation or trial. A dedicated videographer will not have to juggle and switch between cameras and note taking. Additionally, experts rarely show up with a tripod so you often have to settle for shaky-cam from their latest tax deduction. Fine for America’s Funniest Videos, but what you need is a steady, focused and clear taping. Also, it is just safer to have dedicated videographer onsite.

Multiple camera angles are not only good backup planning but offer you presentation opportunities during the editing process, like split screens and picture in picture of synchronized video. Aerial, Infra-red and slow motion recording can be done too, depending on your expert’s advice. Miniature sacrificial cameras can also be relied on when we need take the audience inside events too dangerous for a camera operator. |
